How TruePane Windows & Doors Came to Royal Palm Beach

We didn’t set out to put a branch in Royal Palm Beach because a spreadsheet said so. We came because the calls kept coming. For years, homeowners from The Acreage down through Wellington would call our other Florida locations and ask the same question: can you come out this far, and will you actually show up when you say you will?

Those calls mattered because of what was behind them. Time and again we heard the same story from people living west of 441: a window or door job that looked fine on the day the crew left, then started misbehaving the first hard summer. A slider that bound in the humidity. A front door that let daylight through the weatherstrip. A picture window that fogged between the panes in year three, and a warranty that turned out to be a piece of paper with a phone number nobody answered.

Dale Kessler listened to those calls for a long time before he opened this location. What finally made the decision was simple: Royal Palm Beach deserved a shop that measured twice, quoted honestly, and stood behind the work the way we were raised to. So we built a local team here, stocked the trucks, and put our name on the door. Not with fanfare. With a level in the truck and the same whiteboard rule we’ve had from the start: if the pane is not true, the job is not done.

Dale Kessler’s Personal Connection to the Windows & Doors Trade

Dale grew up watching glass get set the old way. His father was a glazier, which meant Dale spent his boyhood holding the dumb end of a tape measure and learning that a sixteenth of an inch is not a small thing. It’s the difference between a sash that glides and a sash that fights you every July. He can still smell the glazing compound from those early days, that sharp linseed smell that hangs in the air when a pane goes into putty, and he can still hear his father’s voice: measure once, cut once, and if it’s not square, do it again.

He didn’t plan to spend his life in the trade. Like a lot of kids who grow up around a craft, he thought he’d do something else. But windows have a way of pulling you back. The first time he set a large picture window by himself and stepped back to check the reveal lines, everything was true. The light came through clean. The frame sat square. He remembers standing there a minute, not saying anything, just knowing this was what he was supposed to be doing.

What gets him out of bed now isn’t the glass itself. It’s the moment after we finish a job and the homeowner runs a hand along the new sill, or opens the new front door and feels it seat into the jamb the way a good door should. That small, quiet satisfaction is the whole point of the work. If he weren’t doing this, he’d probably be out in the garage restoring something old, trying to make it true again with his own hands. The trade didn’t leave him; it just waited until he was ready to do it right.

Meet Dale Kessler - The Person Behind Every Job

Dale Kessler is the Owner & Founder of TruePane Windows & Doors, and he has spent his entire working life in and around the glazing trade. He was raised in it. He trained under journeymen who didn’t believe in shortcuts, and he carries that training into every job we take on in Royal Palm Beach and the surrounding communities.

What sets Dale apart from a technician who arrives in a corporate van and reads from a script is that he has actually set, sealed, squared, and replaced every kind of window and door we sell. He knows why a particular manufacturer’s frame behaves differently than another. He knows what South Florida humidity does to a seal over time. He’s not reading a manual; he’s remembering jobs he’s done.

Ask anyone who’s worked with him and they’ll tell you the same thing: Dale is unhurried, plainspoken, and certain about what he’s doing. He keeps a level close at hand, and he treats your house the way he’d treat his own mother’s. That’s not a slogan. It’s how he was raised.

Our Promise to Royal Palm Beach Homeowners

We work by a code we call K.E.Y.S., and it’s not a poster in the break room. It’s how we’ve operated since the beginning.

  • Krafted right: trained journeymen, proper materials, no shortcuts.
  • Every time: the four-hundredth job gets the same care as the first one.
  • Your home first: we work in your house the way we’d work in our mother’s.
  • Standing behind it: if it’s not right, we come back. No paperwork, no arguing.

Those four lines mean something specific on every job. It means we quote the manufacturer lines side by side on paper so you can see what you’re paying for. It means we register both layers of the warranty before the truck leaves your driveway. It means if something isn’t right, you call us and we come back. That’s not a special favor. It’s the deal.

Our Credentials

Every pro working under the TruePane Windows & Doors name is required to hold the license and insurance their state requires. That’s not optional for us. It’s the floor.

We carry insured & bonded coverage because we work in your home, around your family, and we think you should never have to wonder whether the person standing in your living room is protected. We have served this market since our local branch opened, building a strong local reputation one job at a time, and that reputation is built on simple things: showing up when we say, doing the work right, and standing behind it.

Why does this matter to you? Because hiring someone to work on your windows or doors means letting them into the most private part of your property. You should know they’re legitimate, they’re covered, and they’ll answer the phone if you need them. Those credentials are what make that possible.

Rooted in Royal Palm Beach

We didn’t open a branch here to be a name on a strip mall sign. We live and work in this community. Our local team knows what a Royal Palm Beach summer does to a west-facing slider, and what hurricane season demands of an impact door on the outer edges of Wellington or Loxahatchee Groves. The soil, the sun, the salt air, the afternoon storms: these aren’t abstractions to us. They’re the conditions we install in every day.

And because we plan to be in Royal Palm Beach in thirty years, we act like a company that will be. We hire local. We train apprentices into journeymen. We answer the phone with a person. That’s what it means to put down roots somewhere.
